How to install zawgyi on your iphone or ipad?

Currently, there is only one way to do that. Jailbreak your device.

If you already have jailbroken your device, check out Ko SATURN POST on how to install zawgyi font.

or if you don't know what jailbreak is or don't want to jailbreak it, don't worry your fonts outside the app are showing you squares, but on other zawgyi-installed iphone or ipad or computer, they work just fine/ full texts.


I hope you understand that Apple don't allow us to inject native myanmar keyboard officially.

I read the reviews and people asking me to make keyboard like emoji. One thing I can say now is that emoji is Apple's approved fonts and it is dependent on Japanese font. As you can see, Japanese font is available, so it becomes easy stuffs to inject emoji to your device. Bad thing is that Emoji only works on iphone and ipad. you cannot see with your computer or blah blah blah.

Anyway, I hope my app help you in some way.

In the meanwhile, my school exam is coming soon and unfortunately, that has no connection with my apps or iphone sdk programming. So, I gotta head back to that things and get ready for it too. To Jailbreak or Not to. First timer

The first time I bought an iPod Touch was like one and a half years ago. I loved it. My friends asked me why I didn't jailbreak my iPod Touch. I said, "it voids warranty prematurely". Later, I found out that Jailbreak doesn't void my warranty period. I could easily restore the device and erase the jailbreak. In addition, by jailbreaking you can use your iDevice just like computer, rooting and all the advanced stuffs which apple blocks.

Why I like jailbreak?

1: access my iDevice easily and freely
2: get all the amazing tweaks that apple don't allow in their store
3: I like Zawgyi font (burmese font)
4: Change wallpapers, ringtones and etc

That allows you to break through all the restrictions and to enjoy your device fully.

NOTE: "Jailbreaking isn't about getting all the cracked apps, but freeing your devices"

Think : Once you’ve purchased something, do you own it? While this may seem like a silly question, it’s the entire crux of the argument for hardware hacking. If you believe that the purchaser owns the good, then they have the right to do with it what they want.

MMkeyboard Tips!

1: everyone has been asking me if they could send SMS the texts from MMkeyboard, SO my answer is YES, you can. but the receiver must have Zawgyi font installed so that he could see that. If not, Copy SMS and Read inside the app.

2: why are u seeing squares instead of texts outside the app?
ans: It's because you don't have zawgyi in your idevice which is impossible without jailbreaking your device. but you squares texts can be viewed on computers, etc.

3: Are there any updates coming up?
ans: Of course, This is just the beginning. I will continue putting efforts to make this app better than ever.

4: Any known issues which i'm working to fix?
ans: here you go... 1: BackSpace in zawgyi kB 2: buggy keyboard sound 3. close ipod music while typing.

To Register Apple 99$ program or not .

If you are a beginner and wondering whether you should apply for Apple iOS developer program, you're at the right topic.

As it's 99$ and duration is only 1 year, it might be expensive for beginners to pay for it.

1: Before you register, play around/ learn and make some fun applications with xcode and simulator first.

2: After you've learnt very much and got a cool and original idea, sleep on it and built on xcode first and make it work.

3: When you are confident, apply for it.

4: Firstly, Apple app review team may reject your app, but just try to fix what they mention and resubmit.

5: And if you're wondering how much money I've made from apps, I'd say I haven't earned a lot. But, it's very fun and kinda like my hobby now.

6: As you know, there are hundred thousands of iOS developers working. So, it's very competitive in this area.

7: If you are just to learn Xcode and not for business, I suggest you submit your applications via Cydia first.
