Update: Nexus One changes in availability

Earlier this year, we announced that we will be closing the Nexus One web store. This week we received our last shipment of Nexus One phones. Once we sell these devices, the Nexus One will no longer be available online from Google. Customer support will still be available for current Nexus One customers. And Nexus One will continue to be sold by partners including Vodafone in Europe, KT in Korea, and possibly others based on local market conditions.

To ensure our developers have access to a phone with the latest Android OS, Google will be offering the Nexus One through a partner for sale to registered developers. Visit the Android Market Publisher site and log into your developer account to purchase a Nexus One.

I am now reading "The iphone Developer's Cookbook". It's just amazing. I haven't finished reading the whole book, but I've already learnt a few things new from it. :)

Adium: Socket is not connected "OR" Reading Error!!!

You will have a lil bit of problems with Adium when you first use it. You will see either Socket is not connected or Reading error.
Simply go into Adium’s preference panel, choose the offending account and hit edit. And change the port to 80 from whatever it currently is. It'll work great then. For MSN, you might see Reading Error. For that, check Connect via HTTP which is under port.

Take note that itunes is having technical glitch exploited by a Vietnamese app developer. Top paid books apps are full of his apps. They said he allegedly hacked hundreds of itunes store accounts and purchased his apps which helps his 40 apps reach itunes top 50 apps. It is really sad to see people credit cards being used by some pathetic hacker. So if you have itunes account linked to your credit card, you'd better watch out. I also find out that there is a chinese website where you can purchase hacked itunes accounts with 20 yuan or around there, you can purchase from apps store with it untill victims realize and close accounts.
